Bishop Hill Heritage Association recently issued the following announcement.
Thanks to a generous donor, the VASA National Archives will have 4″ and 5″ wooden Dala horses available to paint during the 2nd weekend of Julmarknad. A charge of $5 for the 4″ dala horse and $10 for the 5″. Paint, supplies, and plastic smock will be provided.
Painting will be in the Vasa National Archive basement and individuals are welcome to let their horses dry while exploring the town. Supplies are limited, so come early. For more information about this activity, call the VASA National Archives at 309 927-3898.
