The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Coal Valley in Rock Island County rose by $3,850 while total sales increased by 1166.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,750 - a 2.6% increase over the $149,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Coal Valley in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Coal Valley for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,431, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
