Rock Island County Budget Committee met Oct. 8.

1) Call to order and roll call
2) Public Comment
3) Approval of minutes from the September 24, 2020 meeting
4) Review of County Administrator’s Memo
5) Review of Departmental Budgets
a) Updated FY21 budget worksheets
b) FY21 GF budget shortfall by department report
6) FY21 Proposed Budget Restructuring due to COVID-19 Pandemic
7) Committee vote to recommend proposed FY21 Tax Levy & Budget be forwarded to the county board for the first reading and consideration of an annual Appropriation Ordinance at the October 20, 2020 County Board Meeting (layover of the FY21 Budget for public inspection until November 17, 2020.
8) Setting next budget committee meeting date and time.
9) Committee member opportunity for brief comments (no action can or will be taken based on any comments from committee members but the matter might be placed on a future agenda for consideration)
