The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce will offer a free business webinar on the importance of cybersecurity frameworks on Nov. 12.
“Just like baseball wouldn't make sense without rules and boundaries, it's critical for businesses of all sizes to put the right policies and controls in place to protect their confidential information,” states the Quad Cities Chamber website.
The event is the second part of the Chamber’s Business Brief series on the topic. Winsor Consulting Security Manager, Matt Hopper, will provide business owners with information about cybersecurity frameworks, why one should be used internally and how to measure an organization’s security.
“Winsor Consulting is looking forward to helping business owners make sense of securing their networks through the National Institute of Security and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework and Center for Internet Security (CIS) controls,” states the Chamber website.
Attendees must register for the webinar in advance and will be given a link to the Zoom meeting upon registration.
