Village of Carbon Cliff Public Properties Committee Met June 7.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
1. Resident Paul Gruber (801 Foret Mansur) would like to discuss with the Village a tree that is hanging over his property.
2. Loren Rains, Village Engineer will go over projected costs of resurfacing the alleyways.
3. Discuss Orchard Lane. Back in March the Village approved Tri-City Blacktop to resurface Orchard Lane ($11,900.00), since then Tri-City was bought out and they are now referring projects to other companies. Laud gave us a quote for the same work to be done, however, the total project cost for concrete is $48,618.00, this is $36,718.00 more than Tri-City. This is of course comparing two different types of materials, but would the Village like to consider concrete as it will hold up longer and we do have a problem with his street every couple of years. Concrete will hold up much longer. McClintock had also originally given us a quote for $23,095.00. McClintock did verify that his initial quote is still valid, and he would honor the price.
4. Review/Discuss Solar Panel Options.
5. Discuss prioritization/strategy for mowing village properties for remainder of season and following years.
a. Mow, Trim, & Spray all in the same day
b. Trim & Spray around all street signs, posts, fire hydrants, etc. throughout the town
6. Monthly Maintenance Comp Time Report – May 2021.
7. New or Other Business.
8. Adjourn Meeting.
Next Meeting: Monday, July 12, 2021, at 6:00 P.M.
