The home at 701 E. Fifth St., Coal Valley was sold on Sept. 2 by Joseph B/Erinn E Scurr for $284,600. The buyers were Gary Jr. and Jeanine Sommers.

So far in September 2021, this is the only property that sold in Coal Valley as of this publication.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Joseph Scurr has been registered to vote since 2018. Erinn Elizabeth Scurr has been registered to vote since 2018 and has voted in at least one primary election, records show, including one Republican Primary.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
