Report: Riverdale School District spent $8,921 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Riverdale Community Unit School District 100 was down 2.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Rock Island Today analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Rock Island County school district spent $9,168 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $8,921 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,160 to 1,152 students over the same period.

Riverdale's spending in 2019-20 was 38.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
