Median home prices in Hampton rose to $164,950 in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Hampton rose by $13,950 while total sales increased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $164,950 - a 9.2% increase over the $151,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Hampton in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Hampton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,184, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
