Coal Valley (Rock Island County) home prices rose in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Coal Valley in Rock Island County rose by $52,000 while total sales increased by 57.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 52 homes sold, with a median sale price of $228,500 - a 29.5% increase over the $176,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Coal Valley in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Coal Valley for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,431, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
