Months April 2021-February 2022 are higher by about $4.35 million. She also pointed out Schedule J highlights the amount due to the general fund and other funds from Hope Creek. L. Moreno thanked Ms Palmer for numbering the pages as it makes it much easier to follow. Mr. Mc Neil asked for clarification on the ARPA funds, asking that we started with $13.8 million and now we have $8.5 million to spend before December 31, 2026? Ms. Palmer stated she’s just reporting the cash that we have on hand right now is about $8 million. Chairman Brunk clarified that there’s a difference between what the Board allocated in ARPA dollars and the planning. He stated that we have expenses that we have allocated for this current fiscal year. We do know that there are expenses that we do tend to allocate ARPA funds for the following year as well.
B. Westpfahl asked if any ARPA funds will be able to be used to help pay for fuel if needed, with the current rise in fuel costs? Chairman stated that may be something that we have to look at down the road. It would depend on the condition of the funding systems, themselves.
