Post Your Member Job Openings On Our Website For Free

102

The talent shortage is a challenge that we are collectively tackling with businesses, organizations and members throughout the region. Collaboration is key, and there is one more thing you can do. Post your Member Job Opportunities for free on our website.

The Chamber has an extensive marketing campaign underway focused on talent attraction. We are actively telling college graduates, skilled trades and mid-career professionals who live in Chicago, Des Moines and more, about the opportunities our region holds for them, whether that it is landing a dream job, accepting a promotion or leading a corporation.

As we share this message and story of our rising QC region, we ask them to ‘click’ to learn more about open positions and careers. That one action takes them to the Member Job Opportunities page on our website, and it needs to be full. Members can upload a job opening for free and those positions are also listed in our weekly e-news, which is sent to more than 12,000 people in our region. That is an audience that can further amplify the news of your open position with one text, email or call to former co-workers, friends or family who they believe would be perfect for the job.

Analytics show that Member Job Opportunities was the No. 2 visited area of our website in May. It is easy, free and essential to show the talent we want to attract to the QC that there are great opportunities for them here.

While we are sharing the story of our rising region across the U.S., we’d ask us to help us in that endeavor, too. As residents within a family of communities tied to the Mississippi River, we intuitively know QC is a great place to live, raise a family and have a great career. Don’t be shy in sharing what makes this region special to you when you are on business trips, attending class reunions, at family gatherings or traveling. Talent that is not living here now needs to know why they should. Spark their intrigue and encourage them to visit. From there, our mighty, welcoming region tells its own story.
