There were 1,224 white students enrolled in Kewanee Community Unit School District 229 in the 2021-22 school year, 1.4% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Kewanee Community Unit School District 229 welcomed 1,969 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 64.3% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.
