The Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal has announced that it is now accepting applications for small equipment grants. This initiative aims to assist fire departments across Illinois in acquiring essential firefighting and ambulance support equipment.
Eligible fire departments can apply for grants of up to $26,000. The deadline for submitting applications is October 1.
"This is a great opportunity for a grant to purchase small firefighting and ambulance support equipment," said an official statement from the State Fire Marshal's office.
