City of Moline Traffic Engineering Committee met Oct. 2.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

3. Approval of minutes of the Traffic Engineering Committee meeting of September 10, 2024.
4. Representative from WIU Learning Campus, at 406 7th Street, is requesting signage for a “loading zone” be placed outside of west entrance, on 7th Street.
Explanation: This facility is a daycare/preschool for children ages 0-5 years, that is scheduled to open in October 2024. Hours of operation will Mon-Fri 6:00am-6:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am-2:00pm. They have up to 75 children per shift (morning/afternoon). This would be for vehicle drop-off and pickup (no buses). There is a need for temporary parking while children are walked in/out of building. Parking is currently allowed on both sides of street.
