State Senator Neil Anderson (R-Andalusia) and State Representative Travis Weaver (R-Peoria) will host a Town Hall meeting in Kewanee on Wednesday, September 17. The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Kewanee City Hall, located at 401 E. 3rd Street.

During the Town Hall, attendees will receive legislative updates from both lawmakers and have the opportunity to seek assistance with state-related matters. Community members can also ask questions and speak directly with Rep. Weaver and Sen. Anderson.

“I look forward to seeing everyone in Kewanee and hearing about issues important to them,” stated Rep. Weaver. “These town hall events are a great way to connect with constituents, and the feedback we receive is valuable and helps us do our jobs better.”

“A lot of the legislation we file comes from the constituents we represent, so having these events and conversations allows us to learn about the issues impacting our communities and how we can help in the state legislature,” added Senator Anderson.
