There were 29 American Indian students enrolled in Rock Island County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that American Indian students made up 0.1% of the 22,306 students in the county. They were the least represented ethnicity.

Among the 10 districts in Rock Island County, Rock Island School District 41 recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 16 students.
