The Rock Island Board of Zoning Appeals will meet March 9 at Rock Island City Hall to consider three requests for zoning variances.
The board will consider a request from Peggy Crawford of Jackson Square Apartments to erect three mobile, freestanding signs at 2411 Fourth Ave.
The board will also consider a request from Andrew Parer and Andrea Bonner to add a 1,450-square-foot second floor to their home in the industrial zoning district on 35th Avenue.
The board will also consider John Curtis' request to build an unrelated group family residence within 20 feet of another unrelated group family residence. Rock Island zoning code normally requires group residences to be at least 300 feet apart.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Rock Island City Hall is located at 1528 Third Ave.
