The Moline Traffic Engineering Committee met yesterday at the Moline Public Works Department to discuss a variety of parking issues.
The committee discussed requests for a new handicapped parking space at 1111 26th Ave., a new no-parking zone on the south side of 26th Avenue from 12th Street to 13th Street, a new residential parking space at 162 Sixth Ave., and parking limitations on 18th Street B near 25th Avenue and on the 1800 block of 15th Avenue.
In addition, the committee considered a request to ban truck traffic on 15th Street A north of 23rd Avenue.
The meeting was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Conference Room One. The Moline Public Works Department is located at 3635 Fourth Ave.
