The Rock Island City Council met May 9 to discuss the old firehouse options.
The discussion of options was lead by Public Works Director Randy Tweet. He stated that there really isn’t any new information on the firehouse to be presented.
The City Council also updated members on the capital improvements for the Hauberg Center.
The City of Rock Island features a council-manager form of local government, which was adopted in 1952, as a means to bring a professional, less-political approach to local government.
