At a recent meeting, the Sunset Marina Boaters Advisory Committee considered a rate increase and a reduction in services, among other options, as it tried to resolve 2017 budget issues.
The Sunset Marina Boaters Advisory Committee advises the city of Rock Island on matters related to Sunset Marina. Meetings are held at 6 p.m. every third Thursday in the Public Works Conference Room, 1309 Mill St.
