The Quad City Mallards will continue to have their games broadcast on Fox Sports Radio 1230 for the next two seasons, according to MyQCMallards.net.

The Mallards reached a two-year agreement with Fox Sports Radio 1230 that will keep the station as the team's home through the 2017-18 season. Moline-based Quad City has had its games broadcast by the station for five seasons prior to the start of the 2016-17 season.

Brian Lavelle will remain the team's radio announcer.

Most of the Mallards' 72 regular-season games will be broadcast on Fox Sports Radio 1230 this season, while the rest will be streamed online at the team's website. Quad City's opener against Fort Wayne on Oct. 14 will be aired live on MyQCMallards.net, while the Oct. 15 game against Fort Wayne will be on the radio.

All potential Kelly Cup playoff games involving the Mallards also will be broadcast on AM 1230.
