Augustana soccer forward Michael Brazinski has been named to the all-conference College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) First Team, according to the school's athletics website.
Brazinski, a senior from Plainfield, had 11 goals and four assists this season to lead the Vikings in scoring. His 11 goals place his season among the 25 best in program history.
Also this season, Brazinski earned CCIW Player of the Week honors on Oct. 4 for scoring three goals in two games. He also notched a three-goal game this season against Robert Morris.
Last season, Brazinski made the All-CCIW Second Team after notching six goals and two assists.
Brazinski has scored 24 goals and had 10 assists in his career at Augustana.
Carthage forward Austin Bitta, who led the league in scoring, was named the CCIW Player of the Year, according to cciw.org. Steve Domin of Carthage was named the league's Coach of the Year.
