Augustana women's soccer senior midfielder Hannah Lohmeier has been named a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American for the second straight season, according to athletics.augustana.edu.
Lohmeier has a 3.99 grade-point average as a biochemistry major.
Lohmeier, the team captain this season, had six goals, which tied for the team lead, and two assists in leading the team with 14 total points. She also was named to the All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Team for the second consecutive season and the league's academic team for the fourth time.
In her Augustana career, Lohmeier had 15 goals and two assists, for 32 points.
Off the pitch, Lohmeier, a native of Waunakee, Wisconsin, spent time last summer working at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, under a research fellowship. She also has been a research assistant in the Augustana chemistry department and is a tutor in a human-anatomy course.
In addition, she is a member of the Augustana Fellowship of Christian Athletes and has served as a Young Life leader for Moline High School.
