The village of Cordova Committee of the Whole met Jan. 12 to create a website.

The Committee Meeting was called to order by the Village President Dean Moyer at 6:30 P.M in the Village Hall Conference Room Thursday, January 12th, 2017
Roll Call: Jim Hines, Shannon Craigmiles, Bill Somers, Alvin Barber, John Haan. Absent: Pat Fidlar. Also in Attendance: Jim Boone, Bob VanHoorweghe, Sarah Fox (Review) Shelley Strombach, Duane Wilkey,
Commercial Business Rates: Dean handed out spreadsheet showing old vs. new commercial business rates. Showed average price increase for Riley's Roadhouse, Matcon, River Way Café, Expresslane, Hill & Dell.
Attorney: Dean called around to a few lawyers Clayton Lee recommended. Has a meeting Monday January 16th in Moline with Attorney Blade.
Lee & Lee office is working on rewrite or amendment of ordinance for commercial business rates. Will present at January 19th board meeting.
Audit: Kim Hoffman bid for a 5 year contract. Have not received any other bids. Run ad in paper weekly until deadline.
Website: Use Dean's credit card to set up Go Daddy account. Use the rest of the month to build website. Website will be presented at February 9th committee meeting, voted on at February 16th board meeting.
Credit Card: Check to see if there is already a motion to add Christina Kelsey to the mastercard, if not make motion at board for approval.
Printer for Office: Printer has been repaired 3 times in 2016 at $200 a pop. Printer does not handle the thicker paper for the utility bills. Shannon suggest looking for different paper before we buy a new printer as it is only a year old.
Christmas Light Contest: Award prizes for Christmas Decorations 2016 at January 19th board meeting.
NANO 2: Dean met with everyone involved on Thursday January 13th. Nano is ready to be wired. Need a plumber to plumb it all.
North Station Lift: Keeps calling saying there is a problem, people respond and there are no issues. Omni Site sent a tech out today with Rusty to work on it. Should be fixed now.
Metal: Bill Sommers request to purchase metal to revamp 36' trailer. Fixing the trailer would allow us to use it to haul the mowers and other equipment. Also need metal to fix the box on the 1 ton Ford. Sides and bed are rotting out. Need to check to see if we have a title for the 36' trailer.
Aerator: Questions whether it is time to clean the aerator. Is there a contract in place for cleanings already?
