Moline City Council met August 8.
Here is the minutes as provided by the council:
Council Meeting: The City Council meeting came to order at 6:00 p.m. The Council met in special session in
Council Chambers at City Hall.
Roll Call: Roll call was taken with Mayor Acri, Aldermen Rodriguez, Parker, Wendt, Potter, Turner, Waldron
and Berg present. Absent: Alderman Schoonmaker.
Public Comment: There were no comments from the public.
Executive Session: Alderman Parker, seconded by Alderman Berg, moved for Executive Session, for the
purpose of discussion of Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance, or Dismissal of
Specific Employees-5 ILCS 120/2(C)(1). Motion carried on roll call with the following vote: Ayes: Aldermen
Rodriguez, Parker, Wendt, Potter, Turner, Waldron and Berg; nays: none.
City Council convened in Executive Session at 6:02 p.m.
Alderman Schoonmaker joined the meeting at 6:19 p.m.
Alderman Parker moved to adjourn Executive Session, seconded by Alderman Berg. Motion passed
unanimously.
Council reconvened in open session at 6:28 p.m.
On motion of Alderman Wendt, seconded by Alderman Berg, the special Council meeting adjourned at 6:28
p.m
