The Milan Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed three area businessmen to its board of directors at its annual meeting.
Joining the board are Larry Coyne of Valley Construction, Evan Johnson of Blackhawk Bank and Trust, and John Hoffman of Pagalo's Pizzeria and Gelato Cafe, the chamber said in its November newsletter.
“2017 was a progressive year for the chamber,” the newsletter said. “We ended some old projects, started some new ones, discussed many possible changes, and researched many possible directions for the chamber. With the addition of these new directors, we hope the chamber will continue moving towards bettering itself and the village of Milan for all to enjoy.”
The chamber also honored three outgoing board members for their work: Caron Nugent of ABC Promos and Gifts, Lory Van Blair of Beardsley Printery Inc., and Vera Henrichsen of Skip-A-Long.
“You have offered many great points of wisdom over the years that have helped guide the Milan chamber to be better,” the newsletter said. “We hope to continue seeing you at events and meetings, if time allows.”
