Village of Matherville Board of Trustees met November 27.

Call to Order/Roll Call

Mayor Buffy Krack called the November meeting of the Board of Trustees to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll Call – Trustees present: Scott Campbell, Tony Starcevich, John Starcevich, Stephen Adams, Jim Shields, Village Manager Stephanie McMeekan, Clerk Molly Litwiler and Treasurer Anne Slavish.
Approval of Minutes of Last Meeting
Trustee Jim Shields made a motion to approve the October minutes.
Trustee Tony Starcevich seconded. All were in favor and the motion carried.
Treasurer Report’s and bills to be paid
October bills & Treasurer Reports were reviewed and a motion was made by Trustee Steve Adams to approve. Trustee Jim Shields seconded. All were in favor and motion carried.
Public Comment –
Danny Robinson – Paddock and Eagles to get permission to stay open late on New Year’s Eve.
Trustee Jim Shields made a motion to let the Paddock and the Eagles stay open until 4:00 AM. Trustee
Tony Starcevich seconded.
Tom Lingafelter – Donation towards families at need for the 2017 Christmas season. Trustee Jim
Shields made a motion to donate $800.00. Trustee Tony Starcevich seconded.
Mayor / Manager’s Report
Sent 3 letters to property owners, due to poor property conditions.

Village Manager Report
Eagles Christmas party is December 9th. Everyone is invited.
December 16th – Community club bake sale and Santa at the village hall.
Stickers have been ordered for golf carts and video gaming
Draft of ordinance establishing combined billing for village services.
Matherville Fire Department Report
Did not have anything to report at this time.
Maintenance Supervisor Report
Committee did not have anything to report at this time.

New Business
Levy ordinance – Trustee Tony Starcevich made a motion to approve the Levy ordinance and Trustee
Jim Shields seconded. All were in favor and the motion carried.
Here being no further business to come before the Board, Trustee Tony Starcevich made a motion to adjourn and Trustee Jim Shields seconded. All were in favor and the motion carried
