Orion Community Unit School District 223 Board met Nov. 1.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
A special Board meeting was held in conjunction with the Citizen’s Advisory Council (CAC) meeting.
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. at Orion High School, 1100 13th Street, Orion, Illinois. Present were members Cooper, Kane, and Monson. Absent were members Abbott, Kayser, Nedved, and Nightingale.
Daniel M. Swanson, Illinois State Representative of the 74th District, gave a presentation.
Board members toured the High School Business room, led by Marcy Wegerer, Orion High School Business Teacher.
Board members toured the High School Home Economics room, led by Tina Poel, Orion High School Home Economics Teacher.
Board members toured the High School Agriculture Department, led by Anne Gustus.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
