Bishop Hill Heritage Association recently issued the following announcement.
This coming October, the BHHA is hosting the Communal Studies Association’s Annual Conference here in Bishop Hill.
The CSA is an organization that encourages and facilitates the preservation, restoration, and public interpretation of America’s historic communal sites, like Bishop Hill.
A large part of the conference is the opportunity for people to present academic papers, some of which will be published in the CSA Journal, Communal Societies.
The paper can be about Bishop Hill or some other communal society, past or present.
