Western Illinois University Riverfront Campus recently issued the following announcement.
The Western Illinois University Eta Epsilon Chapter's Taste of India Scholarship Dinner has been held for several years in a row, giving attendees an authentic Indian meal, entertainment, a presentation and a silent auction.
Funds raised through the events pay for two $500 scholarships from the chapter. One semester, the scholarship is given to a student who is studying abroad, and the other semester, it is given to an international student.
Paula Ramirez Fernandez, a psychology and music therapy double major, from Colombia, is this year's international student recipient.
This year's Taste of India Scholarship Fundraising Dinner will be held Saturday, Nov. 3. The next Phi Beta Delta induction ceremony will be held in November.
