Marion Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Jason Powell, Branch Manager with Legence Bank will be teaming up with Farming God’s Way Ministries and Cornerstone Church for the second year in a row for a mission trip to Haiti. Powell will be sharing the gospel message to the village of Hatte Cotin, while also serving alongside a medical missions’ team, working on construction projects, facilitating children’s ministry activities, and more. Last year they installed 1500 feet of water line and tapped into a natural spring well giving the village access to clean water that was previously 3 miles away.
Jason Powell is looking for financial support and specific items to be donated. The total cost of the trip is $1,600 which is nothing in comparison to the eternal difference this trip will make.
