The Henry County Republican Central Committee recently welcomed Lt. Gov. Evelyn Sanguinetti to the Henry County Fair.
Sanguinetti, who is running for re-election in November’s general election alongside Gov. Bruce Rauner, was warmly greeted by the crowd and later posted a video of some of the day’s festivities on Facebook.
On the campaign trail, Sanguinetti recently ripped Democratic gubernatorial candidate J.B. Pritzker and his proposed idea of a progressive tax.
“Pritzker will stick you with that progressive income tax, which is surely to be an increase, not to mention the fact that it is wholly regressive,” she told Fox News.
