Hampton Township Board of Trustees met June 4.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The regular meeting of the Charter Township of Hampton Board of Trustees was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by the Supervisor in the Boardroom of the Hampton Township

Administrative Offices.

The pledge of allegiance was given to the flag.

The invocation was read and a moment of silence observed.

Present: DeWyse, Samyn, Close, Hugo, Wisniewski, Klass, Wright

Absent: None

Also Present: Benchley, Weiler, Hewitt & 3 people in audience

Motion by Hugo seconded by Wisniewski that the minutes of the May 21, 2018 regular meeting be approved as printed and that the reading of the minutes be waived. Motion carried.

Communications:

Motion by Klass seconded by Hugo that the communications be removed from the agenda.

Motion carried.

Auditors Report:

Motion by Hugo seconded by Klass that the following warrants be approved for payment:

#44576 - #44605 General Fund $ 51,110.73

Electronic transfer May Pension 23,275.90

#3078 Building Fund 6,127.96

#3743 - #3746 Sewer Fund 22,155.28

#2709 - #2717 Public Safety Fund 101,433.91

#1506 - #1508 Water Fund 63,264.65

$ 267,368.43

Ayes: Hugo, Klass, Wisniewski, DeWyse, Samyn, Wright, Close

Hewitt opened the lawn mower bids as follows:

Jim Campau $ 2,776.00

Jason Ball $ 3,100.00

Motion by Hugo seconded by Wisniewski to accept the bids and to award to the high bidder

Rod Brocke at $4,901.00. If high bidder passes then award to second high bidder Scott Doyen.

Ayes: Hugo, Wisniewski, DeWyse, Klass, Samyn, Wright, Close

Nays: None

Motion carried.

Attorney Report:

Hewitt had no report.

Engineer Report:

Bartow was not present.

Standing Committee Reports:

Motion by Klass seconded by Hugo that the Planning Commission minutes of April 19, 2018 be received. Motion carried.

Motion by Wisniewski seconded by DeWyse that the Planning Commission minutes of April 12, 2018 be received. Motion carried.

Officer/Trustee Reports:

Motion by DeWyse seconded by Wisniewski that the revenue reports be received from the

Treasurer as follows:

5/14/18 – 5/18/18 Water Fund $ 182,985.93

Building Fund 4,075.47

General Fund 2,850.08

$ 189,911.48

5/21/18 – 5/25/18 Water Fund $ 62,657.81

Building Fund 5,823.50

General Fund 54,299.01

$ 122,780.32

Motion carried.

Hugo addressed the pumps at the end of the roads; have they been tested; ditches very high.

Klass addressed the excavator repair bids from last meeting.

Supervisor addressed: City of Bay City received grant of $245,115.00 towards the aerial purchase (which is 25% of total price). Aerial will be delivered to City on June 5, 2018. Also addressed: security cameras in place; Memorial Day celebration; and working on an employee handbook.

No one addressed the Board.

Motion by Hugo seconded by DeWyse that the meeting adjourn. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
