a. Motion to acknowledge and ratify Village President, Bill Hintz’s approval and Village D.O.C.A.S., Nick Gottwalt’s authorization for a proposal from G.A. Rich & Sons Inc., to remove and replace the hatch for the pit containing the 12” Cla-Valve at a cost of $3,650.00 and remove and install existing 12” Cla-Valve, replace kicker and replace bolts and gaskets at a cost of $7,330.00. Total cost of $10,980.00.

a. Local Officials Day at the Illinois State Far. Saturday, August 11, 2018, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield, Illinois.

b. Labor Day Celebration Breakfast. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at TaxSlayer Center, 1201 River Drive, Moline. Breakfast is at 7:30 and program starts at 8:00. RSVP by Friday, August 24, 2018.

c. 2018 IML 105th Annual Conference, September 20-22 at the Chicago Hilton, 720 Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Total Conference Cost per person $1,200.00. (Includes conference, hotel, travel & meal accommodations). Nick & Leevon will be attending

d. Quad Cities Flood Resiliency Alliance Workshop hosted by River Action Inc., 2018 Upper Mississippi River Conference. Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2:30-5:00pm at Stoney Creek Hotel, Moline. Cost is $25.00 per person. Register for this workshop at www.riveraction.org/UMRC

Condition VII.20 (Permit Modification No. 139). Placed on view for public comment.

10. Old Business:

a. Foley Construction re-roofed the Park Pavilion on July 31st.

b. Radium Sample taken June 28, 2018 came back good. Next CCA milestone is for 2018Q3 samples to be reported by October 10. Maintenance will take the next sample August 27, 2018.

c. 12” Cal-Val was delivered Friday, August 3, 2018. G.A. Rich & Sons has been contacted to schedule an install date.

d. Dan Wiegand with Hoerr Construction was out Monday, August 6th to look at the areas that need slip lining and repaired. He said he should have a quote to me in the next week or two.

e. Hotel Tax – Comfort Inn
