According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 62 students during the year. That equates to 3.7 percent of the 1,688 students enrolled.
Of the 62 out-of-school suspensions, 32 were given to boys and 30 were given to girls, all of whom were high schoolers.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for violence that caused physical injury. The category includes 29 incidents. There were 21 incidents of drugs. For 30 incidents, students were suspended for 5-10 days.
