Report: Rockridge spent $9,205 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Rockridge Community Unit School District 300 is down 7 percent from five years ago, according to a Rock Island Today analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Rock Island County school district spent $9,893 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,205 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1132 to 1081.

Rockridge's spending in 2017-18 was 31 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
