Analysis: Rockridge administrators rank 336th in state for average pay

Administrators in Rockridge Community Unit School District 300 earn an average of $103,817 per year, ranking 336th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a Rock Island Today analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 10.2% higher than in 2014 and 22% higher than in 2009. District administrators make 3.2% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Rock Island County school district enrolled 1081 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 216 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
