The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Coal Valley in Rock Island County rose by $3,500 while total sales decreased by 16.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 71 homes sold, with a median sale price of $155,000 - a 2.3% increase over the $151,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 85 homes sold in Coal Valley in 2016.
