Augustana Students For Life leaders are excited about the prospect of building on the momentum of a busy summer this school year.

“Our executive board has been very busy making the best use of their summer and getting prepared for the upcoming year,” the group posted on Facebook on July 17. “Our President Logan Worrick had a great opportunity today to give Students for Life of America’s (SFL) President Kristan Hawkins a tour of the Capitol.”

Worrick, who was instrumental in helping the SFL get off the ground last year, has spent his summer in Washington, D.C. interning under U.S. Rep. Darin LaHood (R-18th District). His summer also included representing Illinois as the Students for Life state captain.

"Thank you Logan for all that you do,” the Facebook post states. “We are so excited to see what the future holds.”

Augustana Students For Life is a student group at Augustana College in Rock Island.
