THE REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Education of Annawan Unit District No 226 met in Language Arts Room at the High School at 6:00PM. President John Rosenberry called the meeting to order. On roll call those present were Brian Childs, Cathy Foes, Nancy Goodman,
Jerad Heitzler, John Rosenberry, Dwaine Shaw Jr and Ted VanHyfte via phone. Others present were; Superintendent Matt Nordstrom, Wayne Brau, Chris Kidd, Dawn Heitzler, Lisa Spivey AEA Representatives, Ann Chapman, and Mary Jagers.
CONSENT AGENDA – Moved by Heitlzer and seconded by Foes to approve Consent Agenda. Voting YES were Childs, Foes, Goodman, Heitzler, Rosenberry, Shaw and VanHyfte. 7-0 Motion carried.

Approve 2" Reading of Updated Board Policies- Moved by Goodman and seconded by Foes to approve as presented with exception of 6:135 for more clarification. Call vote. Motion carried.
Approve Meeting Date & Time for April 2019 due to Canvas of Election results- Moved by Childs and seconded by Goodman to set April 24, 2019 at 6:00PM for meeting date. Members voting YES were Childs, Foes, Goodman, Heitzler, Rosenberry, Shaw and VanHyfte. Motion carried 7-0
Approve IHSA & IESA Membership for 2020- Moved by Shaw and seconded by Heitzler to approve. Call vote. Motion carried.
Approve Annawan-Wethersfield Athletic 2year Co-Op Agreements for Junior High & High School- Moved by Heitzler and seconded by Childs to approve. Members voting YES were Childs, Foes, Goodman, Heitzler, Rosenberry, Shaw and VanHyfte. Motion carried 7-0.
Closed Session- 6:40PM-Moved by Heitzler and seconded by Goodman to go into closed session to discuss personnel and disciplinary actions. Call vote. Motion carried.
Meeting Re-Convened at 7:25PM- Moved by Shaw and seconded by Heitzler.
Approve Intent to Hire Bus Drivers- Robert Celus, Chris Goodley and Matt Nordstrom Moved by Shaw and seconded by Heitzler to approve. Voting YES were Childs, Heitzler, Rosenberry, and Shaw. Voting NO were Foes, Goodman and VanHyfte. Motion carried. 4-3.
Approve Employment of Personnel for 2019-2020 as presented. Moved by Shaw and seconded by Goodman. Members voting YES were Childs, Foes, Goodman, Heitzler, Rosenberry, Shaw and VanHyfte. Motion carried 7-0
Adjournment- 7:30PM- Moved by Shaw and seconded by Heitzler to adjourn. Call vote. Motion carried.
