THE REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Education of Annawan Unit District No 226 met in Language Arts Room at the High School at 6:00PM. President Dwaine Shaw Jr called the meeting to order. On roll call those present were Brian Childs, Jeff Gerber, Jerad Heitzler, Kim
Park, Dwaine Shaw Jr and Liz Wied. Ted VanHyfte was absent. Others present were; Superintendent Matt Nordstrom, Wayne Brau, Chris Kidd, Dawn Heitzler AEA Representatives, Matt Huber, AD.
CONSENT AGENDA - Moved by Heitzler and seconded by Park to approve Consent Agenda. Voting YES were Childs, Gerber, Heitzler, Park, Shaw and Wied. 6-0 Motion carried.

Approve 1"' Reading of Board Policy Updates- Moved by Childs and seconded by Wied to approve. Call vote. Motion carried.
Approve Amended School Calendar for FY2019- Moved by Heitzler and seconded by Park to approve. Call vote. Motion carried.
Approve of Concussion Procedure Policy- Moved by Gerber and seconded by Childs to approve. Call vote. Motion carried.
Approve Purchase of Website Upgrade Program- Moved by Childs and seconded by Gerber to purchase the program to upgrade the district website from Apptegy for a total of $11,616.00 to be paid through Title II grant. Voting YES were Childs, Gerber, Heitlzer, Park, Shaw and Wied. Motion carried 6-0.
Closed Seesion-7:15PM- Moved by Heitzler and seconded by Childs to go into close session to discuss personnel and discipline.
Meeting Re-Convened -7:40PM- Moved by Heitzler and seconded by Gerber to re-convene.
Resignation of HS Basketball Cheer Sponsor- Alta Courter- Moved by Childs and seconded by Wied to accept resignation. Call vote. Motion carried
Hiring of Elementary Teacher & Coach- Dana Baele- Moved by Park and seconded by Heitzler to approve Dana Baele as Elementary teacher and Junior High Track Coach. Call vote. Motion carried.
Hiring of A-W Junior High Baseball Head Coach, Pat Keane and Assistant Coach John Hornback and Andrew Vertraete and Junior High Softball Head Coach, Josh Heitzler, and Assistant Coaches Randy Manuel and Cole Kraft. Moved by Heitzler and seconded by Childs to approve. Call vote. Motion carried.
