Rock Island home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Rock Island rose by $9,800 while total sales decreased by 14.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 29 homes sold, with a median sale price of $103,500 - a 10.5% increase over the $93,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Rock Island in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Rock Island for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,203, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
