44 Rock Island County residents 80 or older test positive for COVID-19

As of May 21, there have been 44 Rock Island County residents 80 years of age and older who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 323 residents 80 and older in the county who had been tested, meaning that 13 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through May 21, there have been 604 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 22 deaths from the coronavirus in Rock Island County.
