City of Keithsburg City Council met May 28.

Mayor Henshaw opened the Meeting at 6:00 PM
Pledge of Allegiance
Alderman Physically Present: Donnie Cox, Bill Pinger, Jan Occhi, Don Truitt, Tom Litwiler.
Others Present: Cindy Diehl, Treasurer; Kelly Parker, Clerk
Absent: Ronnie Brock
1. Opening of campground:
The council reviewed guidelines set by the Mercer County Health Department and the State of Illinois. If guidelines are followed the campground can open for Phase 3 of the Governors COVID-19 plan. Donnie made a motion to open the campground May 29, 2020; Tom seconded.
Motion carried with all “Yes” votes.
• Three application were received for campground host. Jan made a motion to appoint Nila Carle as host for the season, Tom seconded. Motion carried with all “Yes” votes.
2. Adjourn the meeting: Bill made a motion to adjourn meeting, Donnie seconded. Motion carried with all “Yes” votes.
