Bishop Hill Heritage Association recently issued the following announcement.
The combination of heat, sunshine, and timely rains is doing wonders for our garden.
The broom corn, sorghum, and flax are doing well. If you look closely at the photographs below, you will see the broom corn and sorghum starting to tassel. Next time you are in Bishop Hill, please drop by the Historic Garden and check out the crops for yourself. The BHHA Garden is located by the 1908 Albert Krans Livery Stable Museum.
