As of August 30, there have been 141 Rock Island County residents 80 years of age and older who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 4,805 residents 80 and older in the county who had been tested, meaning that two percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through August 30, there have been 2,189 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 54 deaths from the coronavirus in Rock Island County.
