City of Rock Island Arts Advisory Committee met July 8.

Call to Order and Roll Call
Chair Brett Hitchcock called the virtual meeting to order at 4:05 PM.
Approval of the Agenda
Jodie Kavensky moved to approve the agenda for July 8, 2020. Dawn Wohlford-Metallo seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously on a vote of 5 to 0.
Approval of the Previous Meeting Minutes
Dawn Wohlford-Metallo moved to approve the minutes for June 10, 2020. Jodie Kavensky seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously on a vote of 5 to 0.

Rainworks Project Stencil Locations and Installation Date Determination
Several locations for the Rainworks stencils were discussed and noted. A discussion on when to install followed.
2020 Rotating Sculpture Program Installation Update
Dawn Wohlford-Metallo told the commission the installation of the last sculpture, “Reaching to the Moon”, at the Five Points Intersection will occur this Thursday.
Vote for the 2020 Chair and Vice-Chair
Jodie Kavensky moved to approve Brett Hitchcock as 2020 Chair and Carolyn Krueger as 2020 Vice-Chair. Tony Seabolt seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously on a vote of 5 to 0.
