City of Geneseo City Council Met May 25.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

1. ROLL CALL

2. PUBLIC COMMENT

City Ordinance allows members of the Public to speak and give input up to 3 minutes during Public Comment, there can be no debate or action by the City Council at this time.

3. ADMINISTRATION

3.1. Discussion of Ordinance O-21-06.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing and providing for the issue of not to exceed $4,200,000 Taxable General Obligation Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2021, of the City of Geneseo, Henry County, Illinois, to finance a portion of the unfunded accrued actuarial liability of the City’s Police Pension Plan, to pay bond discount, bond interest, financing, and administrative expense; prescribing the details of said bonds; providing for the imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the same, authorizing the execution of a Bond Order and for the collection, segregation and application of certain City revenues to pay said bonds.

Motion to approve Ordinance O-21-06.

3.2. Discussion of Ordinance O-21-07 amending Gaming for truck stops.

The number of video terminals permitted in a Licensed truck stop shall not exceedf the number permitted by state statute and regulation versus a fixed number of 6.

Motion to approve Ordinance O-21-07 amending Gaming for truck stops.

4. ADJOURNMENT

4.1. Move to close the meeting
