The Regular Council of the City of Geneseo was called to order at 6:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present:
COUNCIL PRESENT: Council Bob James, Council Craig Arnold, Council Douglas Crow, Mayor Sean Johnson, Council Martin Rothschild, Council Robert Wachtel, and Council Keith Kennett
COUNCIL ABSENT: Council Brett Barnhart and Council Paula Simosky

7 Mayor's Comments
Reappointment of Doug Emerick to the Police Commission and Gary Joyner to the Zoning Board. The Mayor also discussed the passion he witnessed from City employees who were preparing the parks for Memorial Day Weekend.
8 City Council Comments
Alderman Crow gave a brief update from the Flood Abatement Committee - IMEG is putting together a cost analysis of flood mitigation items that can be handled immediately which includes cleaning debris out of the creek at this time.
9 City Administrator's Comments
Hollenkamp informed the Council that the Cemetery Committee met and no rules will be changed. Some portions of the policy will be clarified however so that the rules are more clear for the public.

Don Beck - Don expressed his concerns with the collection of waste water in the Country Manor area with all the new development going into the area.
Chief Disterhoft - Informed the Council that K9 Kato has retired.
Paul Cain - Thanked staff for having the meeting agendas posted early online. Paul also expressed his concern about future traffic issues in the interstate corridor with the upcoming additions at Beck's and the new Dollar Fresh store, which will bring more traffic to the area.
Sandra Gradert - Administrator Hollenkamp read a public comment emailed in from Sandra in regards to her concerns about changing the rules for the City's cemeteries and the funding of the cemeteries.
