City of Geneseo City Council Met Aug. 10.

The Regular Council of the City of Geneseo was called to order on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 6:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present:

COUNCIL PRESENT: Council Bob James, Council Brett Barnhart, Council Craig Arnold, Council Douglas Crow, Mayor Sean Johnson, Council Martin Rothschild, Council Robert Wachtel, and Council Keith Kennett

COUNCIL ABSENT: Council Paula Simosky

STAFF PRESENT: Director of Finance Jamie Matthews, City Admin JoAnn Hollenkamp, HR/Deputy Clerk Brandon Maeglin, Attorney Derke Price, Chief of Police Casey Disterhoft, and Building Inspector Rick Mills

Administrator Hollenkamp read thank you cards received from children who attended the Park District's "Touch a Truck" event.

Building Inspection Director Mills informed the Council that multiple homes are scheduled to be demolished at North and Center to make way for an expansion of the Reese's property.

Brett Barnhart moved, seconded by Bob James, Motion to approve the Treasurer's Report, Capital Asset Report, and Budget Book as Submitted.
